Summer in the Arctic

June was another great month for us. We’ve added several new things to our illusion show, and brought back one of our original routines that we hadn’t performed in years. It involves a borrowed ring reappearing in an impossible location and it’s been a lot of fun to have in the show again. We also started performing our matinee show again, which is a lot of fun to do since it’s a completely different show than our illusion show and it has a much more intimate feel performed in the lounge.

This past month we had the opportunity to visit several new cities including Flam, Bergen and Geiranger, Norway, as well as the Shetland Islands and Faroe Islands. Some of the highlights were going hiking and sailing through the fjords in Norway, and seeing the famous Golden Circle Route in Iceland and visiting the puffin colony. The photo below is one I took of the Seven Sisters Waterfall in the Geirangerfjord. That morning there was a rainbow right in the center of it. Gorgeous!

It’s starting to warm up here in the Baltics so we’re looking forward to the summer, while being thankful that we’re not experiencing the heat wave that they’re having back home in The States! – Mistie
