It’s been a while since I’ve updated the blog, and that’s because we’ve been going nonstop with cruises, corporate shows and events in Vegas! After finishing up our summer in Europe we headed to the Disney Wonder for a few weeks of shows while touring Mexico, and then we have several performances on different Royal Caribbean ships taking us all over the Caribbean. Back in Las Vegas we performed close up strolling magic at some private events, and then were were off to Dallas, Texas for a corporate performance as a part of the “Champions of Magic” and then back to Vegas for the red carpet grand opening of “Masters of Illusion” at Bally’s Hotel.
We enjoyed Christmas at home in Las Vegas, and then after the New Year we were back to Disney Cruise Line for a season performing on the Disney Fantasy! We’ve been headlining in the Walt Disney Theatre each week with our illusion show, as well as performing a cabaret show for the adults in the nightclub.

We’ve been visiting lots of beautiful places in the Caribbean including the Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Mexico and Jamaica, but the highlight is always Disney’s private island in The Bahamas, Castaway Cay!
On the Disney Fantasy we have been lucky enough to be onboard during “Star Wars Day At Sea.” We caught the new Star Wars movie in the theater and got photos with lots of the characters too. The entire ship is themed to Star Wars and it is so much fun!
On January 26 & 27 in Las Vegas, Kyle and I were honored to serve as judges for the Miss Las Vegas pageant and the other Southern Nevada Regional pageants that are local preliminaries in the Miss America Organization. This was really special for me, as I was Miss Las Vegas 2006 and my experiences in the MAO really help shape who I am today. Most people are surprised to find out that it is not a typical “beauty pageant’ at all. In fact, 75% of the scoring comes from interview and talent, and it is the leading scholarship provider for women in the world. I was fortunate enough to earn over $15,000 in scholarships from the MAO during my two years as a titleholder.
We spent over 5 hours grilling the contestants during private interviews, and questions ranged from scholastic achievements and career goal, political topics and current events, their talents and personal community service platforms. The girls were intelligent, well spoken, charismatic, talented and active in their community. Congrats to the new titleholders, you were all so impressive!
We’ve got a few more weeks performing on the Disney Fantasy, and later this month we’ll be performing on Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas as well between our Disney shows, so it’s another busy month for us! Valentine’s Day is coming up, so I’ll leave you with a little Valentine’s Day magic from me! Thanks for reading – Mistie
We did it – we finished up an epic summer tour of Europe with Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises! Over the past four months we’ve successfully performed 77 different shows, had 34 different flights and visited 44 cities in 23 different countries. The second half of the summer consisted of touring the Mediterranean as well as a check out the photos below to see some of the highlights from our travels:
Prague, Czech Republic
We’ve only been back in Vegas for a little over a week, but we’re already preparing for our upcoming shows. We’ll be headed to Baja Mexico on the Disney Wonder next! Stay tuned for more updates and to see our full tour schedule including new 2018 dates, visit www.KnightMagic.com/tour/
We have had an amazing summer so far, performing our illusion show on the Disney Magic and our fly-on show on Royal Caribbean International! The travel schedule has definitely been hectic, and has us on a plane every 5 or 6 days and we’ve even lost our bags a couple of times, but the shows are going great and destinations are incredible. So far this summer via the cruises we’ve visited Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Russia, Denmark, England, Iceland, Scotland. In addition to those ports, we also took a week-long break in Amsterdam in between our shows. During our travels we also had the chance to catch up with several magician friends of ours: Sabine Van Diemen and Fritz Alkemade in Amsterdam (he produces the Amsterdam Magic Show – check it out if you’re in the area!), Caroline Ravn in Stockholm and on the Disney Magic we had the pleasure of working with comedy mentalist Chris Cox!

At the end of April we brought our show to Mesquite, Nevada to headline at Casablanca Resort & Casino! The full 80 minute show “Elegant Deception” featured some of our signature illusions but also some brand new magic, and it was a full house that rewarded us with a standing ovation. Thank you Casablanca for being such a great venue for us!

Back in Las Vegas, we attended several red carpet events including our friends Jarret & Raja‘s new “Magic vs. Music” show at Hooters Hotel & Casino. We’re old friends and even competed against each other on SyFy’s TV show “Wizard Wars,” and we were happy to support them on their press night!
At the Flamingo Hotel we had a chance to see Tape Face‘s show while he was appearing in Vegas, as well as attend the 15th anniversary show of X-Burlesque! That’s one of the great things about living in Las Vegas and being friends with so many people in the entertainment community here, always having the chance to support fellow entertainers in their shows.

We’re about to leave for a whirlwind summer tour of Europe – visiting 44 cities in 23 countries – but before we leave, we took the opportunity to share some magic with the kids at Sunrise Children’s Hospital. We’re so grateful that we had the chance to see them smile to brighten up their day a bit! Thank you Win-Win Entertainment for arranging this for us.

Thank you for always following along on our adventures, and get ready for plenty more as we will be joining the Disney Magic next week, visiting Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia & Russia! – Mistie xoxo
After performing at The Magic Castle in Hollywood, we continued our tour of Southern California and performed in San Diego at the annual SeaWorld Magic Weekends event! From March 25-26 we performed for over 8000 people in the Mission Bay Theater, and in between our shows we even had the chance to see some of the animal ambassadors at the park. The highlight for me was meeting Peanut, the friendliest beaver I’ve ever seen!
Following our shows in San Diego, we headed to Long Beach, California to perform in the FantaSea Magic Festival onboard the historic Queen Mary! Before headlining in the Mysteries of Magic Dinner show we filmed two different segments for KTLA news, to promote the event. To see video of our segment on KTLA click HERE!
As soon as our show onboard the Queen Mary was done, we packed up and headed to Santa Clarita, California to for one final appearance in this season of “It’s Magic!” – America’s longest all star magic revue.

As soon as those shows wrapped up were on on a plane headed to the Caribbean to join Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas. We visited St. Thomas, Labadee and Puerto Rico, an both of our shows received standing ovations so it was a great week!

Back in Las Vegas, we had the chance to watch a few of the live tapings for the next season of Penn & Teller: Fool Us. It was fun to be on the other side of the stage this time. Look for us making a cameo appearance from the audience, this summer when the new season airs. To see our appearance on Season 2 of Fool Us click HERE!
To say that it’s been a busy month us would be an understatement, but that’s how we like up. Our next shows are in Las Vegas and then we’re gearing up for our summer in Europe, with an insane tour of 42 cites in 22 countries. The first quarter of this year has been filled with shows all over Southern California! On February 19th we headlined in It’s Magic! – America’s longest-running all star magic revue.
We performed two shows at the Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara, and along with the rest of the cast, we were treated to lunch by Milt Larsen, co-founder of the world famous Magic Castle.

One week later we were back in California with It’s Magic, this time performing at the MacCallum Theatre in Palm Desert on February 25th. This was our first time visiting Palm Desert and it is such a beautiful place! It was also an honor to have magic legend Marvin Roy AKA “Mr. Electric” in our audience for our show.

We had a few celebrities in our audiences and so many friends came out to see us. It was especially nice to have Michael Carbonaro from TV’s “The Carbonaro Effect” in one of our audiences! He’s such a nice guy and we’re a big fan of the show.

We’ve been so busy lately that I’ve been getting behind on our blog! To recap the month of December, we had several shows in Las Vegas. We created some specific magic for Amazon at their corporate event here in Las Vegas and welcomed thousands of attendees here to our city, Vegas style!
We also performed at the Heaven Can Wait Animal Society held at the Suncoast Hotel & Casino on December 4th. We were honored to contribute to this charity that does so much good in the community!
We also attended the Balloon Bikini Calendar release party! The calendar features yours truly on the cover and for the month of August, and all proceeds go to benefit the Cure 4 The Kids Foundation helping cover children’s medical expenses. For more info or to purchase a calendar for $20, visit https://balloonalicious.com!
After spending the holidays in Mississippi visiting my family, we flew to the Bahamas to for a week of shows on Disney Cruise Line! We debuted some new magic on the Disney Wonder and especially enjoyed the beautiful Christmas decorations all over the ship for the “Very Merrytime Cruise.”
We celebrated the New Year surrounded by friends and loved ones here in Las Vegas and then spent a week in the Caribbean headlining with our new smaller stage show, on Royal Caribbean International’s Serenade of the Seas! We visited Curacao, Barbados and a brand new country for us – Bonaire.
We also received our copy of “How to be an Illusionist” by JC Sum. We are honored to be on the cover of this insightful guide, and you can find our illusions featured throughout the book. For more information click the link above.
Also this month we traveled to Victorville, California at to perform in “An Evening of Award-Winning Comedy & Magic” at the Victor Valley Performing Art Center. We shared the stage with fellow magicians and friends of ours Chipper Lowell and Danny and Stacey Cole. It also was so nice to see some familiar faces in the audience, from friends we’ve met long ago on Disney Cruise Line.
Finishing off the month of January, we headed back to the Caribbean again, this time headlining on Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas. We were thrilled with the response for the new material in our show, and we received standing ovations for both of our performances in the beautiful Lyric Theatre!
Next month we’ve got several shows in California, including performances in Santa Barbara and Palm Desert, and at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. For more information about these shows and to purchase tickets, check out the schedule and links on our TOUR page. Thanks for reading, Mistie
The month of November was the busiest month I think we’ve ever had! At the beginning of the month we headed to Castle Rock, Colorado to headline at the Theatre of Dreams where we performed two nights of sold out shows and received standing ovations! After our shows we had a day to do some sightseeing and we visited The Garden of the Gods and Dinosaur Ridge and climbed to the top of Castle Rock.

We just finished up a busy summer season headlining on Disney Cruise Line – but no break for us, we now turned our focus to shows Stateside! At the beginning of October we traveled to St. Joseph, Missouri to be a part of “The Workshop” a special magician convention featuring shows and lectures by magicians all over the world.
Our first night in Missouri we performed at the opening banquet reception, followed by lots of interactive learning sessions and catching up with magic friends.
Performing in the opening banquet show for “The Workshop”
Our last evening in St. Joseph we were honored to perform alongside several other talented acts and close the gala show “International Superstars of Magic & Comedy” held at the historic Missouri Theatre, which was built in 1927.
We often perform at corporate events, but this time the client was specifically looking for close-up magic, so we were able to share some magic with cards, coins, rubber bands and other items right at their tables. One week we’re traveling with our illusion in flight cases, and next week we’re carrying our show in one hand!
Back in Las Vegas we fit in an interview with “The Vegas Voice” to talk about our travels & upcoming shows.
We also were guests at Mike Hammer’s annual Celebrity Go-Kart Race benefitting Serving Hope Las Vegas. Check out the video below for highlights!
On October 20th we performed at Wonderground, Las Vegas’ monthly magic & variety showcase hosted by Jeff McBride. This evening was extra special because the shows were packed with performances by talented friends of ours including Jeff Taveggia, Xavier Mortimer, Ariann Black, Anastasia Synn & the legendary Amazing Johnathan! We got to debut some brand new magic as well as one of our favorite illusions.
October is also a special month because we are featured on the cover of Penguin Magic Monthly, and inside you can find an exclusive interview with me! You can purchase the magazine on Penguin’s website in the link above.
We’re excited for Halloween coming up, and then November is going to be just as busy for us as we’re headed to Colorado to perform at the Theatre of Dreams. After that we’ll be headlining on the Disney Fantasy in the Caribbean and the Disney Wonder in Mexico. Thanks for reading! – Mistie
Hi everyone, Mistie here to give you a recap of the busy past few months we’ve had! To start things off, here is a quick magic video we shot while at the Dawes Glacier in Alaska:
In August we attended one of the largest magic conventions in the world, Magic Live, which is held in Las Vegas biannually. Over 1500 magicians from all over the world attended, and it was a blast catching up with so many friends.
The night before the convention, we even performed a little bit of magic at Amazing Johnathan’s and his wife Anastasia’s huge welcome party for all the magicians coming into town.
The highlight of Magic Live, however, was when I beat out a few hundred magicians and won the Magic Magazine trivia game! Questions ranged from magic history to questions about articles and covers featured in the magazine over the years, and with my win I received a free subscription to the new magazine, Magic Legacy!

Between our last few weeks in Alaska performing on the Disney Wonder, we were flying back to Vegas frequently and had the opportunity to volunteer for Win-Win Entertainment again, this time as magic teachers at the Lotsa Fun Summer Camp youth program. We each taught the campers some magic and they were able to perform what they learned in the final show on the last day of camp.
It was also a nice surprise that we both were awarded by Win-Win for our service to the Las Vegas area and surrounding community. Thanks Win-Win for the opportunity to give back!
On August 28th we headlined at The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in a special variety show called “Night of Wonders.” We performed some of our signature illusions in the Orleans showroom, and had a great time sharing the stage with the other performers.

After a week at home in Las Vegas, we flew to Cartagena, Colombia and stayed overnight before joining the Disney Wonder for our final cruise of the summer. We had the chance to check out the city and visit the wildlife sanctuary at the port before leaving South America. Check out the video below for highlights from our day!
Back onboard the Disney Wonder, we performed our headline show in the Walt Disney Theatre, in in Wavebands lounge we performed our kids show/magic workshop which is always a blast. This time the audience was so much fun we even took a selfie from the stage.
Since this was our last week onboard for a while, we had to tear down and pack up the entire illusion show. This time it took us 2 1/2 hours (which isn’t that bad), here’s a time lapse video showing the whole process in only 38 seconds!
The final night of the cruise we performed our nightclub show for the adults and we were officially the last entertainers to ever perform onstage in Wavebands. There have been thousands of shows featuring hundreds of entertainers, and now that the Wonder is headed into drydock, Wavebands will be reinvented as a new lounge. We were honored to be the final performers there and our final show was fantastic we all said goodbye to Wavebands with a bang!
Now that we’re back in Vegas, we’ve got a few weeks at home to prepare for our next show, which will be in Missouri next month. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates. Thanks for catching up with us! – Mistie
